Mango Coconut Ladoo
Mango Coconut Ladoo is a delightful snack that is very flavorful. This delicious Indian dessert is something we would recommend for anyone with a sweet tooth. It is a quick and simple recipe consisting of a mango pulp, condensed milk, shredded coconut and topped off with a few pieces of sliced almonds.
Servings: 10-12 Ladoos
Ingredients:
- 2 cups shredded coconut
- 1 ½ tablespoons of butter
- ¼ cup of sliced almonds
- 1 cups of mango pulp
- ¾ cup condensed milk
Cooking Instructions:
- Place 1 ½ tablespoons of butter in a saucepan and add shredded coconut, cook on a low heat just until you get a little light golden colour
- Then add the mango pulp to the saucepan along with the condensed milk
- Let this cook on a medium to low heat for about 10-15 minutes or until the water has evaporated and the texture becomes thick enough to mold into balls.
- Once the cooking process is complete let the mixture cool enough to handle the mixture
- After cooling, then start molding the ladoos by taking a small handful of the mixture and rolling it around between the palms of your hands until you get a round shape
- Then take the ladoos and roll them around in a bowl of shredded coconut until they are fully covered
- To add more flare we suggest adding pieces of sliced almonds as toppings on the ladoos
- Repeat the previous two steps until all of your mixture is used and your ladoos are prepared
- Finally let your ladoos cool in the fridge for at least an hour, after which they are ready to serve
